Chicago Books to Women in Prison is an all-volunteer group that distributes paperback books free of charge to incarcerated people nationwide, focusing on all women and trans/non-binary people. 9/21/2019 Sent three new books to a woman at Greenville FCI Camp including books on crochet. Crochet is encouraged at Camp and items made are given to families in need with children.

9/22/2019 Sent 10 new Crossword Puzzle Books from their wish list to Prison Book Program in Quincy, MA. Brain teaser books are requested often to keep people’s minds engaged while incarcerated.

Prison Book Program mails books to people in prison to support their educational, vocational and personal development and to help them avoid returning to prison after their release. Sept-Dec Working with a new client of White Collar Advice in Las Vegas and preparing her for a 46 month incarceration at Victorville Camp.

Sept-Oct Working with a client of White Collar Advice in California on preparing him for his PSR interview and compiling the information for his PSR report.

10/23/2019 Sent two new exercise books to a woman at FMC Lexington from her request list. Exercise books are frequently requested as people choose to focus on improving their health while incarcerated.

10/23/2019 Sent two new crochet books to a woman at Greenville FCI. Crochet is an activity to not only pass the time at Camp but also to create and send hand made items to loved ones at home.
