In serious Whole Foods withdrawal? Craving your daily organic smoothie and grass fed beef?
Clearly the daily hard boiled eggs at Club Fed are not going to satisfy these cravings. You need to get cooking!
Yes, it’s possible to re-create your morning wheat grass shot and afternoon vita-boost!
If you aren’t already spending time in Horticulture you need to get friendly fast with someone tending to the herbs. Mint, Basil, Grass, etc. are all available (as are some more medicinal herbs!..stop by at 4:20 for those if you get my drift).
There are an abundance of alternate protein sources if you want to avoid the pork? chops and beef? patties in CDR.
Let’s start with breakfast…Oatmeal is a great protein source…sprinkle on some Pumpkin or Chia seeds and you’ve doubled your intake.
Oatmeal not your thing? How about Peanut Butter on toast? Also chuck full of protein.
For lunch and/or dinner you might consider a healthy portion of Green Peas, Broccoli and/or Spinach. All three good protein sources. Who can forget those biceps on Popeye?!
If that’s too much green for you try some Black Beans or Quinoa…together or separate.
In between meals, snack on some Almonds, also super rich in nutrients.
In many locations Fed Mart has gotten on the green wagon. While it may not be farm to table it’s certainly healthier and all easy to prepare.
