Banana Layer Cake

Ingredients*

One package Pound Cake Loaf

One package Vanilla (or Chocolate) Pudding (3 cups per package)

Two Sliced Bananas

One Dole Tropical Fruit Cup Diced

Two packages Cream Cheese

Cinnamon Crunch Cereal (or equivalent)

Chocolate Syrup (optional)

Plastic Tupperware Rectangular Dish

Two Plastic Round Bowls

Plastic knife, spoon and fork

Instructions

Slice pound cake and place several slices on bottom of a rectangular plastic dish to create bottom layer of cake

In a separate plastic bowl combine pudding with drained diced fruit (safe the juice!)

In a separate plastic bowl use juice from fruit cup and mix with cream cheese until smooth and creamy

Fold the cream cheese mixture into the pudding mixture

Pour the blended mixture to just cover the top of the pound cake

Place banana slices on top of pudding/cream cheese mixture

Layer another slice of pound cake and repeat until all pound cake is used or container can not hold anymore layers

Chill for several hours (encase in ice from ice machine)

Before serving,  sprinkle crushed Cinnamon Crunch cereal (or drizzle chocolate syrup) on top

Cake Pops

Ingredients*

One package Pound Cake Loaf

One XL Chocolate Bar (if no XL available use 3-4 smaller bars)

Several packages Cream Cheese

Fluff Marshmallow (you will have to judge amount based upon texture of dough)

Creamer

Butter

2 packages Candy (Reese’s Pieces, M & M’s or equivalent)

Three Plastic Tupperware Bowls

6-8 Sticks (wooden or plastic)

Instructions

In a bowl crush Pound Cake

Add Cream Cheese and Fluff to crushed Pound Cake until it becomes doughy

Roll the dough into small balls and pierce with stick (like a lollipop)

Place lollipops in clean bowl and chill dough balls on stick

While lollipops are chilling, in a separate bowl melt chocolate in microwave and mix in butter and creamer until it resembles a chocolate ganache

In a separate bowl crush Candy into little bits

Take chilled lollipops and dip them in warm ganache then roll them in candy

You can either serve warm (if you can’t resist them any longer) or let them chill again then serve

*Please note that ingredients vary depending upon locale (substitute based upon Fed Mart selections)

ENJOY!
