Felon Fifteen

Sure, you’ve heard of (and probably experienced) the Freshman Fifteen at prep school and/or college but it’s something you want to avoid during and post Club Fed.

There are carbs here, there and everywhere at Camp.  Unlimited bread rolls and white bread at EVERY meal.  It seems you can’t turn a corner without smelling the distinctive aromas of Cheetos or Doritos.  BEWARE.

Lest you be sucked into this caloric conundrum, avoid the white bread witchcraft by sticking to protein and veggies at each meal and walking between meals.  It’s important to keep moving to not only cut the calories but also to get those endorphins going which will help alleviate Scarlet Fever (see related post).

Realizing you don’t have to squeeze into an Alaia evening dress for dinner while on sabbatical, you will want to be able to look smashing in your Herve Leger when you return home.  So keep that in mind to avoid the Felon Fifteen.

Additionally, when you leave Camp you will be enticed to sample every delicacy you have been denied.  Crimson Caution!  Slowly re-introduce Margaux, Vosges, Feuillatte, etc.  No need to indulge all at once.  No doubt you will head straight to Nobu to cater to your sushi craving just try to do everything in moderation.

It’s like the first week after your annual two week cleanse at VIVAMAYR when all you want is a pint of Haagen Daz chocolate chocolate chip ice cream…RESIST!
