Crimson Cake
A staple in any WCC’s cooking repertoire is sponge cake with chocolate frosting because, let’s face it, your cooking skills are limited. Mummy was too busy with tennis to spend much time in the kitchen cooking (or teaching you) and dinners were just a phone call away.
Fortunately for you, Fed Mart has all of the essentials needed to whip up this Crimson Concoction. Start by purchasing one bag of vanilla wafers, one vanilla pudding cup and about 3/4 can of Sprite. Mix these ingredients together and microwave for six or seven minutes, stirring in between. Set this aside and let it cool a bit.
Next, make the chocolate frosting by mixing a dark chocolate bar with a little butter and a touch of hot water. Microwave this for 45 seconds, stirring in between. Place the delish chocolate sauce on the vanilla cake and let cool.
Now, if you want to spice it up a bit you can sprinkle the top with oreo cookies, chunks of peanut butter cups or any other Hershey’s product available for sale in Fed Mart. If you want to be truly adventuresome, might I suggest swirling some Fluff into the chocolate frosting while icing the cake…YUM!
