Cheesy CONdiments

Assuming one isn’t lactose intolerant, these cheesy recipes are hard to resist.

Chili Cheese/Taco Dip

Ingredients:

1 can (16 ounces) chili, 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, 1 package (16 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese, nacho chips

Instructions:

Microwave cream cheese for about one minute to make spreadable

Spread cream cheese on bottom of microwavable dish

Pour can of chili (with or without beans) on top of cream cheese

Layer shredded cheese over top of chili

Microwave three minutes* or until melted

Serve with nacho dip chips (or anything else you like to dip….pretzels, bread, etc.)  If you want to add even a little more dash add some sliced olives!

*As always, depends upon the age and strength of your microwave so watch and remove once melted/bubbling

Sausage Cream Cheese Dip

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, 1-2 packages of cooked sausage (cut into small pieces),  1 can diced tomatoes, dipping chips (or pretzels or ?)

Instructions:

Combine all three ingredients in a bowl (mix thoroughly) and microwave for 2-3 minutes*

Serve with pretzels or tortilla chips or whatever else you like to dip

Perfect for those weekend football games!

Not a dip person?  Microwave broken?  Or really don’t like to cook.  How about some super easy mini bites (more hand food!)

Sausage Cheddar Bites

Ingredients:

Bar of cheddar cheese, summer sausage roll, crackers (preferably Ritz)

Instructions:

Slice cheddar and sausage into thin slices.  Place one slice of each between two crackers.
