Cheesy Chicken and Noodles (White Collar Club Cookbook recipe)
Just from the title alone you should be advised that this dish is not for the calorie counters! CONcoctions of this nature are pure comfort food. A nurturing hearty meal primarily due to the fact that you are enveloping your meal in cheese!
Ingredients:
1 Bag of Commissary Cooked Chicken (drain off excess water)
1 Bowl of Queso Spread (or Cheese Spread)
1 Ounce Cream Cheese
2 Bags of Ramen Noodles
Salsa (quantity up to you!) If salsa isn’t your thing, no need to add but it adds some spice.
Instructions:
- Mix chicken, cheeses and salsa in a plastic bag (yep, you read that right, plastic bag).
- Put the mixture/closed plastic bag into a bowl of hot water until all of it is melted together. If the mixture looks too thick for your liking, add a little hot water to thin it out.
- While the chicken and cheese mixture is melting, make the Ramen noodles as directed on the package.
- Drain the water from the Ramen noodles and put in a large bowl.
- Pour the chicken and cheese mixture over the noodles.
Recipe is also vegetarian friendly, just remove the chicken. You might also consider substituting broccoli or green beans for the chicken.
