Well, there is no Amazon Echo at Club Fed so The WCC Handbook has compiled a “How To” book for those that are cooking challenged.

While you may encounter a fellow camp mate that has taken some courses at the CIA (no, not that one…The Culinary Institute of America), should you not be that fortunate it’s best to read up on how to prepare the basics, as the meals Uncle Sam provides can be quite repetitive.

One might be surprised to find out that Fed Mart has a vast assortment of items available for purchase that can, with the proper instructions, make for meals that even Bobby Flay would find appetizing!  No, not on the level of Daniel Bouley, but certainly Alton Brown would be impressed!

In need of some comfort food after a particularly draining phone call?  Whip up some creamy mac and cheese!
