Dear Friends and Family,

As you may or may not know, my mother has been incarcerated in the Alderson Federal Prison Camp for about 4 years now. Throughout these 4 years I’ve been on multiple visits, and while on these visits I’ve come to recognize the same faces over and over again. The fact is that most of the women within the camp have no outside support system. Many women have children back at home and are unable to support them because of their destitute situation. This is especially distressing during the holiday season, when these mothers are unable to provide Christmas gifts for their children.

This is where A Kid Who Cares comes in. A Kid Who Cares is a charity fund that provides gifts to children of incarcerated mothers during the holiday season. I firmly believe that every kid deserves a holiday experience, and A Kid Who Cares is here to help bring joy to these underprivileged children during the holiday season. Using your donations, A Kid Who Cares will be able to provide gifts for these children that will hopefully make their holidays filled with a little more joy. Any donation is greatly appreciated as the more donations we receive, the more children we will be able to provide gifts for. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this.
